World of Warcraft - item upgrade Upgrading

The item upgrade lets players increase an item's gear rating up 700 points and also add a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you decide to take them to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading because of their unique stats. (For example an excellently broken point armor that is rolled can be used in melee PvP). Other items, like weapons don't really change after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth the effort.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats like the chance to crit, attack damage, PvE and PvP damage. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also come with a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a unit. In certain instances, this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage a weapon upgrades on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon's capabilities is contingent on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For example the weapon with a +2 rating will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while a +3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will continue increase until it requires a higher tier of Smithing Stones, at which point it will reset to one.

Upgraded weapons can also alter their base stats. This is usually a good factor, but it could also have negative consequences. Upgrades can make items impossible to use, unless you are exceptionally lucky.

Armor items can also be upgraded to improve their performance. For example, if you upgrade chests or helms this will increase the defense of its base, while gloves and belts improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it is able to reduce its value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats it will gain when upgraded and their respective values. This means that an upgrade from an 8 attack-damage sword to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in the weapon gaining 33% attack damage. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will be hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.

A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button that has circular arrows within the item upgrader menu. This will reroll the item upgrader kit and alter its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's level nor connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference to your survivability. Certain sets can offer MASSIVE boosts to poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, making it easier to navigate through tough terrain. In general, the greater defense you have for your character, the greater health you will gain from each point. So, it's best to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains in the game and to unlock them all, you have to complete a side quest that involves the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main quest and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels, and the amount of material and Rupees required for each will vary. In general, you'll be looking at anything from three to ten Red Chuchu Jellies and ten Rupees for the initial upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for instance can be upgraded to an increase of 5 defense rating, which allows you to remain competitive in frigid conditions with a lot of foes. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other hand, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense to ensure you're able to survive a battle with friends.

It isn't possible to upgrade armor like weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior, you should focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical strength or the power of spells. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also get some advantages to your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll typically want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game. For example, the Longsword or Battleaxe. Potions

Potions are bottled substances that, when consumed, provide the user with a temporary status effect. There are five types of potions that have different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to increase their level of effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.

Potion upgrades cost a specific amount of XP. This can be earned by making them on a table or the chest of the Alchemist. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion used and the item's rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This opens an GUI where you can select the potions you wish to upgrade and the amount of XP they will produce when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at once, and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.

Once a potion is upgraded, it will not degrade unless you use it again or break the bottle within the container it is kept. You can also rename the potion by clicking it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the mechanism of potions. For example the splash potions now have an average duration of 0:08 (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display of the item). The table for potion can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. It is now able to be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. In contrast to the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be combined in cauldrons. Additionally, using a potentio on a full cauldron drains the contents and replenishes the bottle.

Finally, there are lingering potions that are brewed with splash and dragon breath potions. In the same way, a lingering potion can be enhanced by adding redstone. Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and affordable ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an ornament or object that serves a purpose, but is not important, like a trinket. In some cultures, a trinket is used to signify affection or friendship, specifically between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be obtained by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets are able to be exchanged at will without losing their stats.

The upgrade vendors are found in major cities and the capital of each zone, and in some cases, dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrades to trinkets are a cost-effective alternative to purchasing new ones. It is possible to upgrade the player for just 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same level of base as the previous trinket but will also have an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.

Trinkets can be upgraded once they are not needed which allows a player to increase their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players, making them a popular alternative to gold.

Players must upgrade their most valuable items first. This typically means the top-of-the-line items for their class, then their secondaries and then other pieces of gear that they won't replace in the near future (for example an earring or cloak). Players should also consider their class's preferred stats when selecting which items to upgrade. For instance If Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tanks it is recommended that they upgrade their helm, chest shoulders, belt, and chest.

Once they have become useless trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket comes with an additional 1% bonus. However, a re-upgrade can ruin the previous trinket in the event that it is not salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or a higher-tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades, but still cheaper than buying new ones.
